The Oratorio del Gonfalone is a deconsecrated church built in the 16th century for the confraternity who carried the papal banners and organised religious processions.
Since the 1960s the oratory has been used for small concerts and recitals.
The walls inside are beautifully decorated with frescoes of the Passion by Mannerist artists Livio Agresti, Marco Pino, Federico Zuccari, and Cesare Nebbia who were commissioned to paint the fresco cycle between 1569 to 1576.
